FAQs

Affordable Duct Cleaning

  • How long does the process take?

The duration of our air duct cleaning process varies depending on your home's size, the number of vents, and the amount of debris in your system. For a typical home of about 1,200 square feet, the process usually takes between three to five hours. Larger homes may require up to eight hours for a thorough cleaning.
  • What do I need to do before my appointment?

Prior to your appointment, we kindly request that you remove or secure any fragile items or valuables on furniture that we may need to move. Our technicians will handle the majority of the preparation. To schedule your air duct cleaning service, please contact our team at your earliest convenience.
  • Can I be home during the cleaning process?

Certainly, you're welcome to remain at home during the cleaning process. Our technicians will need access to each room with a return or supply vent. However, if you opt for a sanitizer application after the cleaning, we recommend vacating your home for approximately one hour following the application.
  • How loud is the cleaning?

The noise level during our HVAC and air duct cleaning is comparable to that of a loud vacuum cleaner. We utilize a HEPA vacuum and air compressor to remove debris. While not excessively loud, it may interfere with phone conversations or similar activities.
  • Is it safe for babies and pets?

Our air duct cleaning process is safe for all household members, including infants and pets. The only potential concern is the noise level, which, while not harmful, may be disruptive to some.
  • Do you need access to all of my vents?

To ensure a comprehensive cleaning of your entire system, we do require access to each individual vent. In cases where a vent is inaccessible, we will clean the connected ductwork to the best of our ability through access panels in the basement. It's worth noting that Americans typically spend about 90% of their time indoors, making regular HVAC and air duct cleaning essential for maintaining a healthy living environment.
  • Can you show me before and after pictures?

Absolutely. Our air duct cleaning technicians routinely capture images before and after the cleaning process, with particular emphasis on heavily soiled areas. These images provide a clear visual representation of the improvement achieved through our services.
  • Will you cut into my ductwork?

Yes, to ensure thorough cleaning of your entire system, our technicians will create a few strategic openings in your ductwork. Upon completion of the cleaning process, these openings will be properly sealed using sheet metal plates and aluminum tape. Rest assured, these access panels will not negatively impact your system's performance.
  • How often should I get this cleaning done?

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends having your air ducts professionally cleaned every three to five years. However, if you've recently undergone home renovations or construction, more frequent cleaning may be advisable. For more detailed information about our air duct cleaning process, please don't hesitate to contact our team.
  • How much does it cost?

Our pricing is determined by the total number of vents in your home, including both return and supply vents. For an accurate quote, we recommend counting these vents in your home and contacting our office with this information. We're committed to providing reliable exhaust, HVAC, and air duct cleaning services at competitive rates.
